Join us for a hands-on STEAM Fair & Open House at Westcliff Early Learning Academy, where curiosity, creativity, and real-world exploration come together.
This special event highlights the unique connection between WELA and Westcliff University, bringing together early learners, families, and university faculty and students for a morning of meaningful discovery.
Children will have the opportunity to explore alongside professors from Westcliff University’s College of Technology and Engineering, who will co-investigate with students through open-ended questions, problem-solving, and playful experimentation. Rather than instructing, faculty will guide thinking—using language that encourages children to ask questions, test ideas, and reflect on their discoveries.
We’re also excited to welcome faculty and students from Westcliff University’s College of Nursing, who will host a child-friendly nursing station. Young learners can explore real medical tools such as stethoscopes, care for baby dolls, and engage in dramatic play that builds empathy, communication, and early scientific understanding of the human body—all in a warm, age-appropriate way.
Throughout the event, families will see how STEAM learning at WELA is rooted in hands-on exploration, collaboration, and curiosity, and how our close relationship with Westcliff University enriches learning experiences even in the earliest years.
Whether your child is building, experimenting, caring, or questioning, this event offers a glimpse into how early STEAM learning, guided by thoughtful educators and real-world expertise, nurtures confident, capable thinkers.
We invite prospective families to tour our campus, meet our educators, and experience the joy of learning in action.
